Utilities and Energy Management (UEM) is part of the Campus Operations unit within the Office of the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. We provide reliable and cost-effective electricity, chilled water, steam, deionized water, compressed air, emergency power, and elevator services for The University of Texas at Austin.
We have more than 200 employees and are organized into the following five divisions: Distribution, Power Systems, Controls & Operational Technology, Strategic Programs & Process Improvement, Operations, and Support Services. Our business and financial services such as accounts payable, billing, and purchasing are overseen by the Business & Financial Services Department.
